Dr. Virginie Perreault, veterinarian and owner of VIP Veterinary Services.

Virginie Perreault,

Phew! What can we say about the rather unusual journey of Virginie, the owner of VIP Veterinary Services? It’s safe to say she loves school—and she loves to make life difficult for herself. That’s right! After starting a bachelor’s degree in communications, then switching to art history and biology, she finally decided to return to her childhood passion: animals.

Ever since kindergarten, she had dreamed of becoming a veterinarian and saving animals! So, in 2015, she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.

From the moment she entered the veterinary field, she has been actively involved with animal shelters. What she loves most of all is giving animals a second chance, especially little kittens. Since graduating, she has always practiced a wide range of veterinary medicine, working in both private clinics and shelters. She loves tackling complicated medical cases. She is a passionate, empathetic, and compassionate veterinarian.

After witnessing the trend of private clinics being acquired by large chains, Dr. Perreault and some of her colleagues decided to take the plunge and start a clinic from scratch so they could practice with complete freedom. They wanted to provide modern, family-oriented veterinary care and work in a friendly environment. Their desire to be close to people and their pets is one of their main motivations.

VIP Veterinary Services was founded in 2024.

Dr. Sheree Lilburn, veterinarian at VIP Veterinary Services.

Sheree Lilburn, DVM

After earning my bachelor’s degree in biological sciences, I decided to pursue my true passion: animals. Having earned my degree in veterinary medicine in 2000, I have had the privilege of dedicating my career to their well-being.

What motivates me is turning this passion into a meaningful career. I enjoy building relationships with my patients and their families, and supporting and advising them throughout their pets’ lives. I particularly enjoy the interactions during consultations and the practice of preventive medicine. I strive to treat every animal with the same care and affection as if it were my own.

Over the years, I’ve come to realize that communication, active listening, and transparency are essential in our field. It’s crucial to build a relationship of trust with pet owners, keep them clearly informed, and involve them in their pets’ care.

Outside of work, I’m a happy mother of two. My family also includes two four-legged members: Ginger, my dog, and Ibou, my cat. They remind me every day of the joy that animals bring to our lives. I’m grateful to be able to balance my passion, my career, and my family life.

We look forward to helping keep your beloved pets healthy and happy!

Jasmine, Receptionist

I work part-time as a receptionist at the veterinary clinic and am studying business administration. At home, I share my daily life with several pets, which has taught me to appreciate the importance of their well-being and the unique bond we form with them.

At the clinic, I’m often the first person to greet you. I like to take the time to listen, reassure you, and support you so that every visit takes place in a calm and positive atmosphere. Thanks to my background in administration, I also make sure to provide organized and efficient service—always with a smile.
